She's back!!!!

Michaela got home Tuesday after a nearly 6 week stay with her father and his family. It was so good to see her! She flew in from North Carolina, where her father has just relocated to.
I arrived at the airport on time, cuz the website said the flight was on time. When I got to the airport, I found out that she hadn' t been put on her scheduled flight, but a later one. Which woulda been fine, only the airline never contacted me or Ray about this. And since she is required to fly as a UM (unaccompanied minor), which costs extra fees, then I think that is the LEAST they should do.
During all this, there was some event at the airport which had a checkpoint closed down and TSA employees being taken to a hospital. They then rerouted her plane to Duluth, some hours north of the cities, and DID NOT call on that one either. Michaela, upon touching down in Duluth, borrowed another passenger's cell and called her father. Totally uncool. So needless to say, Delta has two very pissed off parents on their asses at the moment.
It was a long day.. As you can plainly see by the semi-forced and tired smiles upon our faces. She arrived 4 hours late, but she's back! And we're all glad!

Hello again Traci,
I must admit I have blog envy! LOL I am trying to do as you are, keeping friends and family abreast of recent events, but either don't find the time or end up writing about something other than home and family. Your blogs are both well written and entertaining...I love the blog about the frog...LOL

Hello again? I don't recall having met your acquaintance before! But welcome! It's very nice to meet you. How did you ever come across my blog? I am not even sure my friends and family read it, much less the lucky strangers LOL I checked out your blog! Great photos. What's up with the rock fascination?

Hi Traci,
I was just buzzing through blogs when I stumbled across yours and thought I would read for a minute. The blog about the military guy kinda touched home (not that I am into militry men...YIKES!) so I bookmarked your sight and pop in from time to time to read. I am relatively new to blogging as some blogs go and want to do kinda like what you are doing and updating the world on family and recent events. Your blogs are not only interesting to read but provide insight and ideas to how to go about blogging.
You don't know me from a guy you would pass by in a super busy mall but I hope you do not mind me popping in and reading and commenting. If you would prefer to keep your sight to family and friends only, just wave a magic wand in my direction and I will try to stuff myself back into the old raggedy black hat from which I came...
As for the rocks...Dunno...I had somehow got this idea in my head about rocks being like snowflakes so I decided to write. Like the blog states...Brain Contents of a Krazy Kanuck...Question remains, what to write about next?
Take care,
Matt

Oh no, Matt!! Please stay! I'm flattered that my blog has affected or been admired by someone other than who I intended it to be for! I mean... how cool is that?? And I've met a new person to boot!
And the rock/snowflake analogy is a very good one indeed! Never looked at it like that!
Michaela say thanks for the bday wishes!
talk to you again soon!
Traci
