Baseball, hotdogs, no apple pie..

but we ate Dome dogs, nachos, M&Ms, candied almonds and had a very fun afternoon at the Metrodome on Sunday. Lyndsey had never been to a pro baseball game, and since there's NOTHING like live sports, I decided she needed to go! Ya know, the roar of the crowd, the camaraderie, the over-priced food and beer. Now that's a great American past time!! The Twins are doing pretty good only being 1.5 games down in the Wildcard standings. I thought for sure they were gonna lose, but came up with 6 runs in the 8th! It was a very exciting!! It was around 100 degrees this weekend so it was nice to find something fun to do indoors. They are going to go back to an outdoor stadium, and I can't imagine sitting out in 100 degrees trying to watch a game. In fact, I probably won't!

Now, I have never seen that stadium as packed as it was yesterday. Getting tickets was near impossible. At the beginning of the season, when things weren't so hot, you could buy a $6 ticket and move down to about 6th row off the field cuz it was so empty. And yes, I did that a few times. Now all those "Fair Weather" fans are showing up by the 10's of thousands and ruining it for everyone!

I have a busy week at school with finals on patients in clinic and 3 lecture exams.Which I'm obviously not cracking on because I'm blogging instead!
