I'm officially .. ALONE!

Doug and the kids have just been dropped off at the airport. Am I excited?? YES! But equally sad. This is the longest I will have been without Becca and Alex in their lives. And Doug's longest stint on his own with the kids. Good luck, man! 13 days of ...uncharted territory for all! I have a lot planned over the next couple weeks, as do they, and I know it will go fast. They'll have a great time in their old stomping grounds in Spokane. Everyone is so excited to see them!! This is a good time for a much needed break as the next couple of weeks in school will be hairy ones and I will be at an elevated stress level. Upon their return, we'll be spending a weekend in the Wisconsin Dells. It's the weekend preceding finals week, but I don't even care. It'll be a good break leading into it.
