I'm the last person I thought would ever create a blog. It's my lame attempt to give my family and friends a means of keeping up with my goings on and those of my kids. This way, I can prove I haven't fallen off the earth and that I do think of you all often.. even if I don't show it. Here goes!

If I ran the zoo..







We had a great trip to the zoo! Crowds weren't too bad and the weather was perfect! We spent a lot of time in the Butterfly House. Though Alex was most interested in "helping" a staff member change the filter in the Koi pond. Afterwards, we had a little Wendy's picnic at home on the lawn. After a trying 10 days, in many ways, it was nice to hang out, relax and enjoy the simple things. Which is what life's focus should really be.
