That's MY dog??

Finally had $ to get the boys to the groomer and the vet this week! I seriously didn't recongnize Gus when we went to get him! He'd gotten so hairy you could hardly tell he was a dog LOL He and Griffin are MUCH cooler now! Griffin, of course, would have nothing to do with having his photo taken, as usual!

Now the next monetary outpouring will be application for my Hygiene license and getting about $600 bucks of work done on the van. SIGH! Never ends...

My name's not Grace!

Took a spill on Wednesday and severly sprained my right ankle AGAIN! This is the 3rd or 4th time in my life this has happened. Nothing like that sound of tearing ligaments! EEEEWWWW!!! Been off work since and will go back Monday. Today I can finally put some weight on it and walk pretty normal. And it's starting to turn from black to green so that's a good sign!!!

Switcherooo!!!!

Well today was the BIG day!! Michaela got her braces off and Becca got some on!!! Michaela is just thrilled! You should have seen her sitting in the back of the van on the way home all smiles and singing to the music! It was wonderful to see her so pleased and her teeth look great!!

Rebecca obviously has some adjusting to do, but she is fine with it thus far! Should see some noticeable changes in her grin very soon! Then we'll need to start eyeing Alex!

Searching for my end of the rainbow

Wow.. I feel really swamped lately. Hence why my posting had gotten behind. I feel my time is just as short, or shorter, as when I was in school. My job has crazy and long hours, that often run over. I had a very frustrating day today. Glad it is over. I am suffering from severe "mommy guilt" as well. Which helps me know that I'm not a totally sucky parent. I am away from home a lot, which leaves Michaela picking up the slack. Both of which aren't ok. I'm not really sure how long I can keep up this pace. I just know that I need more balance than I have right now.

I haven't chatted to my buddy, Matt K, in FOREVER!! I miss you man!!! I sure hope you and the family are well!

My friend Leah's apartment building was on fire last night. A fellow co-worker lives in the same building. Leah's apartment is in tact, though she is not allowed there until at least Monday. Surely it's smoke damaged etc.. My co-worker, Nick, lost everything. Thankfully they are ok...

Today is my friend, Kim's, bday. Which I forgot. I suck. Did see her tonight while we were having dinner with Leah and others. So I at least got to buy her a piece of cake! HAPPY BDAY KIMMY! I Love you!

I submitted my rental termination notice yesterday. Now I really got a flame under my ass as we don't have a place to go to yet! This place is just done. I'm done. It's too expensive, too small, too crowded and the neighbors all have too many cars (which congest the parking area out front). Todd and I are again discussing reducing the distance between us. Another thing I am done with! All this running back and forth and missing him terribly the rest of the time. I will keep you abreast of where we end up! As much as I hate moving, I'm ready for a new environment.

Sorta Power Rangerish..

Michaela was just absolutely giddy last weekend when she received a ride on Todd's motorcycle!! Oh she was grinning from ear to ear! When she came back she says: "I can see why like the guys with the bikes!!" Doesn't that sound like future trouble on the horizon??? LOL

Girl Scout Rewards

Last weekend I helped chaperone a GS trip to Camp Rolling Ridges over in Wisconsin. This was just a day trip. All the troops that had excellent cookie sales in our council were rewarded with a fun day!

We had lunch, swam, played on jumpers and made crafts. The girls had a blast. And we were all VERY tired! Tomorrow they camp at The Children's Museum downtown. I chaperoned this event last year, which was VERY fun! Can't go this year due to work..

Ladder Golf Lessons

Our neighbor, Stacy, took time and gave the kids ladder golf lessons one recent evening! They had great fun! And now I actually get it too! They were being so funny! I often see Stacy and his roommates playing this on the lawn, so it was good to finally get in on it.

They have a little boat and often go fishing after work, of which, they share :) Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

A little help from a lego..

Ok.. So Alex FINALLY lost his first tooth!!! Though he had some help from his legos while trying to pry them apart with this teeth! He was very excited! And the Tooth Fairy left him a $5 ..which made him REALLY happy!

A couple weeks ago my friend Leah's family threw her a Grad Party. It was good to see her, Kim (pic'd above w/ Leah) and CeCe. I miss seeing them regularly very much! And I think that she and Carson are just the cutest couple!
