I'm the last person I thought would ever create a blog. It's my lame attempt to give my family and friends a means of keeping up with my goings on and those of my kids. This way, I can prove I haven't fallen off the earth and that I do think of you all often.. even if I don't show it. Here goes!

School's back!


So...this being our first summer in Marshall, I can tell you, it's a little too long. The district doesn't have spring break, so the kids get out the last days of May and go back after Labor Day. 13 weeks. Even my kids were complaining! It was a rainy day, which is the first time I ever remember it raining for the first day of school!

Here's the pre-bus photo for 2008-2009! Michaela is in 10th, Rebecca is in 4th and Alex is a 1st grader!

    13 of weeks of summer? aaaaak! sounds like a lot of opportunities for road trips though :) fun to see you here :)

    I cannot belive Alex is in first grade! I thought I felt old when Ashley went to her first day of preschool this year.

    That came out wrong. You know what I mean. Right?
