I'm the last person I thought would ever create a blog. It's my lame attempt to give my family and friends a means of keeping up with my goings on and those of my kids. This way, I can prove I haven't fallen off the earth and that I do think of you all often.. even if I don't show it. Here goes!

SPAM! SPAM! SPAM! SPAM!

















Yeah...truly... there IS a museum dedicated to that delicacy we all know as SPAM!!! It's located in Austin, MN. And I gotta tell ya... this place is COOL!! You learn all about the Hormell family and how SPAM came to be, the kids get to dress up in garb and do a SPAM packing timed event (fake SPAM folks!), play a SPAM game show and of course... sample SPAM. Which if you didn't know, comes in like 6 different varieties! Oh yeah, get this!! Becca and Alex, who will douse a perfectly good steak or chop with ketchup, LOVE SPAM!!!! Michaela wasn't touching it!

    It's amazing the type of museums that people put together isn't it? Who would have thought of a museum about SPAM? They even have a website: http://spam.net/index.htm

    In Ontario they have a museum for Quintuplets that were born several years ago. Hmmmm, dunno how interesting it would be to look at five of everything. And their first dirty diapers...YIKES!
