My life is like an avalanche...

Wow.. time flies when your life is CRAZY!!! There seems to be so much happening all the time and I feel like I am just swept from day to day. So here's a list of happenings. It's probably the easiest way to go!

*Christmas came and went. The kids all had fun with their Dads

*The transmission went out in my van. While I love that Todd has a spare car; it's far too small for transporting 3 kids and their stuff, me and my stuff and any carpool duties I have in a comfortable manner. Gonna be around 1K to fix said transmission and the A/C. Gotta await the tax money for that (hopefully there is some!)

*I'm very glad to have Jeremy, Evelyn and Tyler making an appearance in our lives again.

*My dad's staph infection has returned.. so not cool

*Rebecca had her First Reconciliation and now we prepare for her First Holy Communion on April 27th (what an ordeal that's become since I was a kid!)

*I still hate my job; I've cut my hours back to the minimum for insurance requirements. Will not waste my day doing something I hate when I have plenty of other things to be doing

*I will pass my boards exam next week

*I am going to the gym regularly - though probably a fruitless adventure as I've been partaking in comfort eating lately

*Moved the 'official' wedding to September 13th - mark your calendars.

*One of my best buds, Kim, has been diagnosed with breast cancer and will have a bilateral mastectomy on Tuesday. Life's completely not fair, let's not get me started..

*WWP (Doug's employer) was bought this month and in a couple months I will get my part of the investments from the divorce settlement, which is much less than hoped for, but should pay off most of my debt.

*It's GS Cookie time again. And it's been WAY below zero so we haven't been out much. Tuesday it was 42 degrees. Wednesday.. -35 with windchill. Want to move South.

*Michaela is busy on the Speech Team and the One Act Team (they are performing the story of Henry V in one act lasting 33 minutes where they travel around competing against other school's teams)

*Todd's hunting dog, Mac, passed away :(

*One of Todd's friend's mom passed away a couple days ago. Be the first funeral I will have attended since my own mother's funeral nearly 10 years ago

*Todd is taking me away for a weekend in February. Our first extended alone time ever! I am not privvy to any of it...so I'm excited to see what he's planned

*All the kids brought home stellar report cards again this last quarter! Very proud!

*I have begun online classes to obtain my bachelor of dental hygiene. So far, so good

*Max (my all time best bud) has been calling me a lot lately as we are apparently having our 20 year HS reunion next year. Still can't believe it could possibly be that long. Seems like last week. TWENTY YEARS.. how obtuse that sounds
