I'm the last person I thought would ever create a blog. It's my lame attempt to give my family and friends a means of keeping up with my goings on and those of my kids. This way, I can prove I haven't fallen off the earth and that I do think of you all often.. even if I don't show it. Here goes!

Another chance with Prince Charming??


Well, well, frog fans...lookie who's back!! This weekend marked my yearly admittance that summer is over.. I cleaned the garage, packed up the deck and prepared for cooler weather. Upon removing a large clock/thermometer thing from the wall of the deck, I found our early summer visitor harboring there. Not quite as bright green as before..not sure if he was trapped back there or what. But I did have a good chuckle upon finding him. Knowing that Dad and Matt would be thrilled!! (They were quite taken with the little guy the first go around.) Saw him out on the deck again this morning, but he's since moved as it is getting warmer out there. Of course, having packed up the deck has brought on warmer weather...suppose to be 90 today!!! Gotta laugh.. I know it's just a last ditch teaser though.

Still no need to be kissing the little guy... things are going well here. Maybe my "man-picker" is on the mend. Time will tell, I guess. Life is good, I'm pretty happy and there is no rush to things.

    LMAO!!!

    Hmmmmmm...I'm curious as to how you know this is the same frog? That little green frog that first appeared and was hoping to earn your affection and a warm smooching transformation may have been ousted by a larger frog specimen!

    I'm glad to hear you are happy as we move into the more gloomy months. A psychic my wife (Ann Marie) visited told her that Winter is a depressing time for me. Maybe it's the lack of fishing, dunno...

    And BTW, I can't help but to imagine this great big contraption called "Traci's Man Picker" roaming the dark corners of MN plucking unsuspecting men (and frogs...) from the streets and dragging them back to your Den for evaluation. **Matt shudders contemplating what happens to the ones that get stamped...REJECTED**

    Matt... thanks for the laugh. I needed it badly today. And hey! Don't burst my bubble! IT IS the same frog! Or at least the same phylum of frog! LOL

    By the way, you can fish in the winter. Through ice, but fishing notetheless!!
